About Papa Roy Foundation.

Papa Roy Foundation will be a group of artists brought together to forge music together. It's main member, Roy Langstaffe aka Papa Roy is a songwriter based in Eastbourne, United Kingdom. He originally discovered his love for music and being creative a while ago. Starting off in bands including Waves, Story at 11 and then the Bastard Boys (First photo) After a number of almost deals, he stopped for a while. He then returned in 2004 with Lupe and recorded the Album Live your Life. This was followed up with the single Give me some more. He then went on to promote a successful unsigned band website, which at one point had over a 1000 artists from around Europe. He also championed unsigned artists in a series of gigs.

He then found acting and appeared both on stage and in the short film Bonfire Hearts and is listed under IMDb. He is under no illusions of becoming a pop star nowadays but has recently rediscovered his love of music.

Forthcoming Projects

He is currently putting together new projects including the Papa Roy Foundation album and a new singer EP. He is looking for artists to work with, initially on The Papa Roy Foundation album. This is looking to a number of genres.

He will be joining forces with Diane, Andi and Mark to release the magic.

Once there is enough material for both projects, he is looking to do some gigs, as well producing videos for some of the materials,

Included on this site are some rough pre- studio recordings, to give you a flavour of what is coming. In the studio he will be looking to work with other fun minded artists to bring life to the sounds!

Papa Roy is easy going and laid back, and the main aim of this project is to have fun recording and maybe gigging later.
